Connecting brands and the women who need them

Through copy that’s research-backed, personality-forward, and built for the real person on the other side of the screen.

Allow me to introduce you to the person behind the work

How I got here

I'm Kristin. Wordsmith, online shopping addict, and the person who will always pick a song for the lyrics over the melody. I live in the Northeast with an Olipop permanently on my desk and a playlist for every possible mood.

When I'm not writing, you'll find me exploring new places, hunting down the best meal within a ten-mile radius, or adding things to my cart. I've been putting words together since I was a kid winning poetry contests. The values I learned then still guide my work: freedom, integrity, authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to growth.

My post-college career started in medical office support, where I learned firsthand the importance of confidentiality and attention to detail. I took that and my BBA in Marketing to work next, landing in executive support at a Fortune 500 company. More than ten years in that environment taught me how to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines, and more importantly, how to make complex information make sense to any audience in the room. Useful skills, as it turns out.

Then life forced a change I wasn't ready for with a health scare that stopped me in my tracks. I left the corporate world to face what years of chronic stress had done to my body. I was carrying over 100 extra pounds; I didn't recognize myself in the mirror. Getting that weight off was more complicated than just eating less and moving more. It took gut health work, stress management, hormone balancing, GLP-1 medication, and a complete overhaul of how I showed up for myself.

But I did lose the weight and gained better health than when I was younger. This journey taught me more than any degree ever could.

But I did get another degree. I received a graduate certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell; I wanted to understand the science beyond the surface level. I completed my Level 3 Reiki certification, because healing the body without addressing the nervous system and energy felt like something was missing. The more I studied and trained, the more I saw the same pattern everywhere: the information existed, but the language wasn't reaching the women who needed it most. I set out to write the version that filled in the gaps.

What I believe

I believe good wellness content meets the reader exactly where she is, sharing honesty and evidence in equal measure. I trust peer-reviewed research over wellness influencers and proven protocols over trending hashtags. The health space has enough people selling opinions as facts. I’m not one of them.

Opinion without evidence is noise. Evidence without personality is forgettable. The magic is always in the mix, and copy should sound like a specific person with a point of view wrote it. Not a template, not a committee, and certainly not an algorithm. That specific person is different for each brand, because the person it should sound like is you.
